Dark paint is the most unforgiving finish you can own. Every water spot, dust layer, and swirl mark shows up immediately - and on a Porsche 911, that's the last thing you want. This is exactly the kind of car that needs to be done right, with the right products and the right process.

We started with a thorough exterior hand wash to get the surface completely clean before anything else touched the paint. No shortcuts there. Once the surface was prepped, we moved into the wax and polish stage - which is really where that deep, glassy finish comes from. Dark navy paint like this has a natural depth to it, but it only shows when the surface is properly worked. The gloss you're seeing isn't a filter. That's what good paint looks like when it's been treated correctly.

The wheels got their own dedicated attention too. Those multi-spoke Porsche wheels with the gold brake calipers sitting behind them are a big part of what makes a 911 look as sharp as it does. Brake dust and road grime build up fast on performance wheels, so we treated them as a separate process - cleaned, dressed, and finished so the tire sidewalls look just as clean as the paint.

The thing about detailing a car like this is that every panel, every gap, every inch of trim matters. A 911 has tight bodywork and flowing lines that catch light differently from every angle. When the finish is flat or hazy, it dulls the whole car. When it's polished out and protected properly, the shape of the car does exactly what it was designed to do.

Cars like this deserve more than a quick wash. If your vehicle has been sitting or just isn't looking the way it should, a proper detail makes a real difference - not just in appearance, but in protecting the paint long-term.
