This Mazda CX-90 came to us needing a full refresh - exterior hand wash, wax, wheel and tire detailing, and a full interior detail. Clean SUV, sharp interior, and a paint color that really rewards a good wax job. Here's what we worked with and what we ended up with.

We started outside with a thorough hand wash to get the surface clean before anything else touched it. Hand washing matters because it keeps the paint safe - no brush marks, no swirl-inducing shortcuts. Once the surface was clean and dry, we laid down a coat of wax. On a darker metallic like this one, the difference a good wax makes is hard to ignore. The paint depth just comes alive.

The wheels got their own dedicated attention as part of our wheel and tire detailing service. Those multi-spoke black and machined wheels have a lot of surface area to work through - brake dust hides in every gap. We cleaned them out fully and finished the tires so they look the way they should.

Inside, the tan leather seats and dark cabin surfaces got a complete interior detail. The leather was cleaned and conditioned, the carpets were vacuumed out, and all the hard surfaces were wiped down. An interior this nice deserves to be kept up - and a clean cabin just makes every drive feel better.

Wax also does something most people don't think about - it makes your next wash a lot easier. Water sheets off, dust and grime don't stick as hard, and you're not fighting the surface to keep it clean. It's a small thing that adds up every time you go to wipe the car down.
