RVs take a beating. Road grime, UV exposure, bug splatter, oxidation - it all adds up fast. And most of it gets ignored until the damage is already done. That's exactly the kind of thing we try to get ahead of before it turns into a bigger headache.
This Grand Design Reflection 150 Series is a solid rig, and the owner clearly takes pride in it. Our process here started with a thorough exterior hand wash - every panel, every crevice, the slide-outs, the awning arms, all of it. We don't rush that step. Getting the surface genuinely clean before anything else goes on is what separates a real detail from a glorified rinse.
After the wash, we moved into wax and polish to get the finish looking sharp and to knock back any minor surface dullness. Then came the ceramic coating - which is where the long-term value really kicks in. Ceramic bonds directly to the surface and creates a hard, hydrophobic layer that repels water, resists UV damage, and makes future cleaning a whole lot easier. On a rig this size, that matters.
RVs sit outside, travel through all kinds of weather, and cover serious miles. Without proper protection, the gelcoat and painted panels start to fade and chalk. A ceramic coating doesn't just make it look good now - it keeps it looking good trip after trip.
