Hard water spots are one of those problems that sneak up on you. They start subtle - a little haze on the paint or glass after a wash - and before long the finish looks dull and etched no matter how clean the truck actually is. What makes it worse is when a previous detail doesn't address them properly and actually leaves the surface in worse shape than before. That's exactly what we were dealing with on this GMC Sierra.

The owner came to us after a prior detail fell short. The paint still had water spot damage and the finish wasn't where it needed to be. Our answer was a Tier 2 Full Detail with dedicated water spot removal - not a shortcut, not a cover-up. We worked through the paint correction process the right way, which means actually removing the mineral deposits from the clear coat instead of just masking them with a wax layer on top.

The wheels and tires got the same level of attention as part of our wheel and tire detailing process. The machined GMC rims were cleaned down to the spokes and dressed properly - no leftover brake dust hiding in the barrel, no dried product sitting on the sidewalls. The tires came out deep black with a clean, non-greasy finish. It's one of those details that pulls the whole look of a truck together.

Inside, the black leather interior got a full interior detailing treatment. The seats, door panels, dash, and console were cleaned and conditioned throughout. A truck this size with this much going on up front - controls, trim pieces, tight corners around the center console - takes time to do correctly. We didn't rush it.

Water spots on paint or glass are not always permanent, but they do get harder to remove the longer they sit. The mineral deposits actually etch into the clear coat over time, especially in dry, hot climates where water evaporates fast. Catching them early - or getting the right correction done when they're already there - is what keeps a finish looking the way it should.
