This Volvo XC60 came in needing a full reset. Not just a wash-and-go situation - the owner wanted every inch addressed. That's exactly the kind of job we love, because it gives us the chance to do it right from top to bottom.
We started with the exterior. The paint got a thorough decontamination and hand wash, the wheels were cleaned down to the spokes, and the tires were dressed out. Those large multi-spoke wheels with the yellow brake calipers are a standout feature on this XC60, and getting them properly clean - not just rinsed - makes a real difference in the finished look.
Inside, we went through the full interior detailing process. The dark alcantara-trimmed seats, dashboard, center console, and door panels were all cleaned and conditioned. The Volvo interior is a premium space - brushed metal trim, a large touchscreen, and fine stitching throughout - and it deserves more than a quick vacuum. We treat surfaces like these carefully, using the right products for each material.
Then came the engine bay. A lot of detailers skip this step, or treat it as an afterthought. We don't. A clean engine bay isn't just about looks - it makes it easier to spot leaks, wear, or anything that needs attention down the road. The Volvo's hybrid powertrain got careful attention to make sure everything was cleaned without introducing moisture where it shouldn't be.
The best part of this job - the owner signed up for our bi-monthly maintenance plan. One thorough reset followed by regular upkeep is the smartest way to keep a vehicle in this condition long-term. It's far easier to maintain a clean car than to deep clean a neglected one every time.
