This G-Wagon came in fully blacked out - matte finish, blacked-out wheels, tinted glass, the whole package. A setup like this looks incredible when it's clean. But it also shows every speck of dust, every water spot, and every fingerprint. That's the trade-off with a matte finish. You can't just run it through a tunnel wash and call it a day.
We started with a full exterior hand wash, working carefully around the matte paint. Matte surfaces need a completely different approach than glossy paint - the wrong products or too much pressure can alter the finish permanently. Every panel, every gap, every trim piece got proper attention. No shortcuts.
The wheels got the same treatment. Those multi-spoke black rims have a lot of tight spaces where brake dust and road grime pack in and hide. We worked through all of it - clean spokes, clean barrel, dressed tires. The contrast between the matte body and the deep black gloss on the wheels is one of the best parts of this build, and it only works when they're properly detailed.
Inside, this G-Wagon has a full AMG interior - perforated leather seats, carbon fiber accents, aluminum sport pedals, and that big digital display. We went through the whole cabin with our interior detailing process. Everything was cleaned, conditioned, and left looking sharp. The kind of interior that deserves to stay that way.
The protection side of things matters just as much as the clean itself. Getting a detail like this done right means the finish stays easier to maintain between washes. Less buildup, less effort, better results over time. That's the whole point.
