Bug splatters are one of those things that are easy to ignore - but they shouldn't be. The proteins in bug remains are acidic. Leave them sitting on your paint long enough and they start to etch into the clear coat. What looks like a surface-level mess can turn into something that needs a lot more than a wash to fix.
Here's what we were working with on this one. The front bumper was covered in splattered bugs - the kind you pick up after highway driving. It's the most common spot to see this kind of buildup because the front end takes the full brunt of whatever's flying around on the road.
We started with a thick foam pre-soak to break down the bug residue before we ever touched the surface with a hand. That's the right way to do it. Scrubbing dried bugs directly off dry paint is a fast way to cause scratches. Letting the foam do the heavy lifting first means we can lift that debris off safely and cleanly.
After the foam dwell, we moved into a full exterior hand wash - working section by section to make sure nothing got missed. The front end came out clean. No residue, no streaking, no leftover splatter hiding in the grille gaps. Just a solid white finish that looks the way it should.
Bug removal is a small thing that makes a big difference - both for how your car looks and for protecting the paint underneath. We come to you, so there's no drop-off, no waiting around. Just a clean car at your door.
