Clear coat has a UV load it can take before it starts to oxidize, and Henderson delivers that load faster than almost anywhere in the country. Then there is the water: sprinkler overspray across Green Valley, Anthem and Seven Hills carries enough dissolved mineral that when a droplet dries on hot paint it leaves a deposit that etches into the surface.
A ceramic coating addresses both. It is a hard, chemically bonded layer that takes the UV instead of your clear coat, and it is hydrophobic enough that water beads and leaves rather than sitting and drying.
What it is not is a force field. It will not stop a rock chip or a shopping cart, and we would rather tell you that now than have you disappointed in a year.
The difference is how much of the existing damage comes out before the coating goes on.
